VFR Over-The-Top Rating (VFR OTT) |
Privileges This rating will allow a non-instrument rated pilot to fly VFR above the clouds, subject to certain regulations. These privileges are inclusive in the Commercial Pilot License. Some periodic flight briefings may be required. Neither a written examination nor a flight test is required. Training for the VFR OTT may be credited to the Commercial pilot course requirements. Previous dual instrument training can be credited toward the VFR OTT rating.
